Day 1. Marrakech- Ait Ben Haddou- Ouarzazate- Skoura-Valley of Roses- Dades Gorges

The tour begins with a pick-up from your Marrakech hotel, where you’ll start the drive over the Tizi Nticha Pass, taking in spectacular views before heading towards the Glaoui Kasbah at Telouet. After lunch at this scenic spot, you’ll continue on to Ouarzazate, Skoura, the Rose Valley, and the green and fertile Gorges of Dades.

Day 2. Dades Gorges - Tinghir- Toudra Gorges- Erfoud-dunes of Erg Chebbi

After breakfast, you’ll travel to the dramatic Todgha Gorges, taking in panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages along the way. After lunch at a restaurant nestled under 300m (980ft) red cliffs, you’ll continue to the desert, passing by ancient irrigation wells and the town of Erfoud known for its fossil productions. You’ll then arrive at the biggest sand dunes in Morocco, Erg Chebbi, where you’ll check in at a desert inn. After freshening up, you’ll mount camels for an unforgettable night under the stars in a Berber tent deep within the dunes. Dinner will be prepared over an open fire, giving you the chance to enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert.

Day 3. Merzouga. Erg Chebbi- Nkob- Valley Draa- Agdz-Ouarzazate

After breakfast and a shower at the Auberge, you’ll return to Ouarzazate, driving along the old caravan routes and passing through many southern villages and towns. You’ll cross the longest river valley in Morocco, the Draa, with its stunning palm plantations, and arrive in Ouarzazate late in the afternoon.

Day 4. Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou- Marrakech

On the last day, you’ll visit the photogenic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, built with mud-clay from the river banks, and one of the most impressive kasbahs in Morocco. The site is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and has been featured in many movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator. You’ll arrive back in Marrakech in the afternoon, concluding the tour.
