After breakfast at your hotel/Riad, we’ll collect you at 8 am to commence our 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour. Enjoy a captivating journey through the majestic Atlas Mountains, adorned with snow-capped peaks in winter. En route, you’ll have the option to visit a local Argan Cooperative managed by women, where you can discover the traditional methods of producing Argan oil and its derivatives.
Crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m), we’ll embark on a guided walking tour of the historic Ait Benhaddou Ksar (Village), a former bustling commercial center along the caravan route linking Marrakech to the Sahara. Following lunch, our journey continues towards the Dades Valley, passing through Ouarzazate (known as the Hollywood of Africa), Skoura, and the enchanting Valley of Roses.
Continuing our Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour, we’ll explore the magnificent Todra Gorge, a towering canyon renowned among mountain climbers worldwide 300m (980ft) red cliffs. Optionally, we can pause for a brief visit to Erfoud, famous for fossil excavations and date production.
As we reach the majestic sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, immerse yourself in a mesmerizing camel ride experience, soaking in the splendor of the sunset.
